Limited Snow Expected Tonight

Inch Expected To Be The Worst; Icing A Concern

Richmond, Va. ( -  Richmond should only see, at worst, an inch of snow from the end of the precipitation tonight.  NBC12 Forecaster Nick Russo says a light dusting is more likely.  However, any precipitation on the roads is expected to freeze as temperatures get down to around twenty, meaning Wednesday's commute could prove icy.

VDOT could not pre-treat the roads because of the rain.  The agency is asking people to check on road conditions ahead of time before driving.

Cold temperatures will follow for the next few days, with Wednesday night getting down to around ten degrees, and Thursday daytime will only be in the twenties.
