Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -  It is very likely Richmonders will be facing voluntary water restrictions next week.  Richmond Public Utilities Director Calvin Farr says the James River is currently flowing at levels just above the voluntary restriction level, and is likely to drop below it in the coming days.

Farr is asking people to reduce their water use, and to slow the watering of their lawns.  However, he says we would have to get extremely dry for us to face mandatory restrictions.

The Governor has also issued a Statewide Drought Watch Advisory.
