Arrest Made In Election Night Church Break-In

Richmond Man Arrested Without Incident

Chesterfield, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Chesterfield Police have arrested a man they say broke into and vandalized Ironbridge Baptist Church on Election Night. 

Police say at about 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, Jacob Farnsworth, 25, of Richmond, entered the church, destroyed Bibles, broke an interior window and spray-painted walls. 

Detectives obtained warrants for Farnsworth for breaking and entering, possession of burglary tools, and vandalism. On Monday, November 12, 2018, Farnsworth was located and arrested without incident.

Farnsworth is currently being held at the Chesterfield County Jail without bond.  No word on a motive.
