Capitol Police Let Go Officer

Had Been Accused Of Having White Nationalist Ties

April 17, 2019 - 3:05 pm

Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Capitol Police have announced the department has terminated Sergeant Robert Stamm, who had been placed on leave February 6th.  Stamm's leave coincided with social media posts being made public, allegedly showing Stamm with white nationalist tattoos and flags.

Capitol Police would not discuss the review, because it was a personnel matter.

Chesterfield Police are also currently reviewing one of their own officers, accused of white nationalist ties.  Proceedings against that officer are still going on, although Chesterfield Police Chief Jeffrey Katz has recommended his termination.
