Midlothian, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Just days after Chesterfield County started bringing some of its elementary school students into the school buildings, the county is reporting its first elementary school Covid-19 case.  The district says a student at Wakins Elementary in the western part of the county was clinically diagnosed with Covid, meaning there was no test but the Doctor determined it was a Covid case.

The district says the building is being cleaned.  They do not believe the student was in the building and infectious at the same time.

Chesterfield just began to return K-3 students to buildings on Monday.  Half go to school on Monday and Tuesday, the other half goes on Thursday and Friday.
