Chesterfield Middle/High Schoolers Returning to Buildings

Two Days a Week Starting 11/9

Chesterfield, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -  Chesterfield's School Board's health committee has recommended the district return middle and high schoolers back to their school buildings.  As a result, those students who are not chosing to remain virtual will start going two days a weel starting November 9th.  Elementary school students are already back in school buildings, with fourth and fifth graders beginning this week.

School Board members and district officials stress tarnsportation will be difficult, and that buses will need to run routes multiple times to allow kids to distance on the buses.  They are asking parents to drive their kids if at all possible.

Henrico is not returning its middle and high schoolers until February.  Richmond has not made any decisions yet on when its students will return to school.  Hanover began the year with some of its kids in buildings.
