Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Governor Ralph Northam is suggesting strongly that a mandatory mask policy is going to be coming next week.  Northam also hinting that it will involve wearing a mask while entering a business.  The move follows a request by Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney, who requested such a policy, after noticing few people wearing one in the city.

The Governor says he is still working through some issues with the policy, including enforcement, and making sure people can get one.  So far, masks have just been recommended.

Richmond remains closed while the surrounding counties have entered partial reopening.  The Governor has said he expects to have more on moving between phases of reopening next week as well.
