Henrico, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Henrico County has now become the second locality to report a Covid outbreak in the registrar's office, after Richmond said they had multiple cases on Monday.  Henrico Deputy County Manager Tony McDowell says five people have tested positive for coronavirus in the office, as well as two in Public Works.  Both Departments are in the same building but it is not clear if they are related.

McDowell says it is not believed any voters were exposed as the first case appeared this past Saturday.  Early voting ended a week earlier.

McDowell says there is no real impact to vote counting as vote totals were certified on Tuesday, as requierd by law.  Some remaining work will be handled remotely.  The building is being cleaned and workers will be out through the remainder of the week.
