Florence Downgraded, Still Uncertainty

Storm Could Head Our Way But Nothing Is Certain

Richmond, Va. (newsradiowrva.com) -  Hurricane Florence has been downgraded today to a category 2 storm, taking it under major status.  However, NBC12 meteorologist Andrew Freiden says it could get stronger once again, and there is still a possibility it becomes an east coast storm.

However, Freiden stresses that there is still a good possibility, in fact, odds may favor, this storm staying out at sea.  He says it is a good reminder to be prepared, in any case.

Florence is still thousands of miles from the coast, and any impacts would not be until Thursday of next week.
