Richmond, VA (Newsradio 1140WRVA.com) -- Jesse Matthew Jr, serving four life terms without the possibility of parole for the murders of two college women, has cancer and has been moved from a high security prison in Wise County to Sussex prison in Waverly for medical treatment. The 37 year-old is reportedly suffering from Stage 4 colon cancer, which means the disease has spread to other organs.

Matthew plead guilty in 2016 to killing Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington, who disappeared hitchhiking after leaving a concert in October 2009 in Charlottesville. Her remains were found months later on a farm in southern Albemarle County.

Matthew also plead guilty to killing University of Virginia student Hannah Graham who went missing in Charlottesville in September 2014 after a night out. Her remains were discovered weeks later in an area not far from where Harrington was found.
