Floodwaters Overtake Truck In Louisa

Louisa, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Virginia State Police say a 59-year old Louisa Man was killed overnight Monday into Tuesday, when his truck was swept away in flood waters along Rock Quarry Road in Louisa County.  Police say Richard Edward Kelih Jr.'s body was recovered around 8am Tuesday.

Kelih's truck was swept off of Rock Quarry Road around shortly before two in the morning.  He was the only person in the truck.

The State Medical Examiner will determine if the death counts as a Florence-related death.
