Middle School Students Questioned in Reporting Shooting

False Alarm Led to Brief Lockdown at Brookland Middle

(HENRICO COUNTY, Va.) -- Henrico Police are questioning two students at Wilder MIddle School for their role in a 911 call that came in just after 1 on Monday afternoon.

That call indicated there was a possible threat at Brookland Middle School. Multiple officers responded to the location and immediately began checking the welfare of everyone on campuse to include the surrounding area.

It was determined that no shooting occurred, nor were there any injuries. The 911 call was traced to Wilder Middle School and police started to make a presence there. Officers determined there was no threat or injuries there as well.

After the lockdown was lifted at Brookland, the school day continued as normal.
