Naked Man Struck And Killed Along I-95

Had Left Greyhound Bus After Becoming Angry

Prince George, Va. ( -- State Police are continuing to investigate what led a Greyhound Bus passenger to become angry, take off his clothes, and run into traffic in Prince George Thursday night.  

State Police say  Greyhound Bus was traveling north on I-95 when an adult male passenger became extremely agitated.  According to police, the man began taking off his clothes and struck the front windshield with enough force to cause it to crack. He also allegedly demanded to be let off the bus. 

State Police say for the safety of the other passengers, the driver pulled off onto the right shoulder and opened the door. The man exited the bus, ran towards the back of it and then into the northbound travel lane. Police then say a 2012 Kia Sportage traveling north was unable to avoid the man and struck him.

The man died at the scene. State police is still in the process of notifying his next of kin.

The driver of the Kia, a female from Midlothian, Va., was not injured in the crash. 

The crash occurred around 11:30 last night.
