Nestor To Bring Needed Rains Sunday

Storm Headed For Florida Panhandle

Richmond, Va. ( - Nestor has formed in the Gulf of Mexico, with an expected landfall along the Florida Panhandle on Saturday.   Its path through Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina is expected to bring rain to us on Sunday. forecastor Nick Russo says we could see more than an inch of rain, with highest totals in southern Virginia.  He says it will be a mostly rain event, with few threats from wind or severe storms.

Russo says the rain then moves out for Monday, with another storm bringing rain for Tuesday.
