Henrico, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) --  Henrico Commonwealth's Attorney Shannon Taylor says there will not be any charges filed against two officers, involved in the officer-involved shooting of 57-year old Gay Plack in September.  Plack was shot and killed as officers were responding to a welfare check at her home in the Wellsley subdivision.

Taylor says two Commonwealth's Attorneys independently reviewed the case and agreed with the decision.  Body camera video shown to the media showed Plack coming at one of the officers with a small ax before being shot.

Taylor calls the incident tragic, and says there needs to be a review of mental health policies to try and avoid future incidents like this one.
