Four arrested after overnight Richmond protests

Richmond, VA _  The Richmond Police Department arrested four individuals overnight Wednesday into Thursday related to illegal activities associated with the on-going protests.  It was the fourth consecutive night that police had declared an "unlawful assembly" following the issuance of a state rule banning gatherings of 10 people or more after sunset.

 06/24/2020 – Lee Statue - Refused to disperse when Unlawful Assembly was declared at the Lee Monument:

 ·Clarence Green, III. 23, B/M, Richmond

o   Unlawful Assembly

 

 06/25/2020 – 300 N. Allen Street - A group of individuals, one of whom was observed spotting the Air Unit with a laser light/pointer:

 ·Jonathan Woverton, 21, W/M, Richmond

o   Interfering with Aircraft

o   Simple Possession of Marijuana

 

·Jack Glass, 23, W/M, Chesterfield

o   Obstruction by Force

 

·Mychael Montgomery, 25, B/M, Richmond

o   Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer
