Rainy Pattern Over?

Should Be Drier, Less Humid This Week

June 04, 2018 - 4:39 am

Richmond, VA (wrva.com) - Areas of Richmond received as many as six inches of rain this past weekend, as heavy downpours yet again struck Central Virginia.  The rain followed the wettest May on record.

However, NBC12 Meteorologist Andrew Freiden says the pattern appears to be finally breaking.  Freiden says this week should be drier, and less humid, giving the ground a chance to finally dry out.

However, the damage from the recent rains remains.  Searchers in Albemarle County are supposed to head out again this morning to search for a person missing from the flash floods that occurred in that county on Wednesday.
