Hurricane Michael Could Drop Three Inches Of Area

Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -  Richmond is potentially looking at a rainfall of around three inches with Hurricane Michael.  The storm is currently in the Gulf of Mexico, heading for landfall as around a catagory three storm along the Florida Panhandle.

NBC12 Meteorologist Andrew Freiden says Michael is a fast moving storm.  Richmond's rain will likely start Thursday evening, and be out by Friday morning.  He says there is no real tornado risk in Richmond with this storm.

Areas to the south and east will receive more rain.  Hampton Roads could received between four and six inches from Michael.  The area is also more likely to see tropical storm force winds.
