(RICHMOND, Va.) -- Detectives with the Richmond Police Department have made two arrests in relation to last week's homicide in Gilpin Court of 18 year old Katrez Bryant of the 1000 block of St. Peter Street.

At approximately 5:40 p.m. on Monday, February 17, officers on patrol heard several gunshots. They responded to the scene and quickly located Bryant, lying on the second floor landing of an apartment building in the 200 block of West Charity Street. He was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

Detectives arrested 26 year old Melvin Davis of the 3400 block of Enslow Avenue and 24 year old Khalil Pryor of the 2200 block of North 25th Street and have charged each with conspiracy to commit murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
