Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - While Richmond Schools Superintendent Jason Kamras says he hopes to have a decision on a return to school plan by winter break, he is not optimistic that plan will include bringing kids back into school buildings.  Richmond currently is in a virtual school set-up into February.

Kamras says Richmond is not the same as Henrico and Chesterfield, and has experienced Covid differently.  He says many of their staff and students know someone impacted by Covid, and that may not be as likely in the counties.  Kamras also says he will continue to make safety the number one priority.

Henrico will have all of its kids in buildings by February, while Chesterfield will have all of its kids part-time by November.
