Washington, D.C. (wrva.com) - Senator Mark Warner (D-Va.), the ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, says if President Donald Trump (R) cannot make Russia's election interference a top priority of his upcoming summit with Russian Leader Vladimir Putin, then the summit should not take place.  The two leaders are scheduled to meet Monday in Finland.

Warner also repeated concerns that President Trump would be vulnerable to manipulation by Putin if he met with the Russian leader one-on-one.  Warner wants other Americans in the room with TRump.

The Democrat also called on the Trump Administration to stop criticizing Special Counsel Robert Mueller.  The comments followed the indictments of 12 Russians by the Department of Justice for allegedly hacking into Democrats' emails.
