Cold Air Burst Coming

May Include An Inch Or Two Of Snow

January 28, 2019 - 4:46 pm

Richmond, Va. ( - A quick Arctic blast is headed our way Tuesday evening, one that could bring an inch or two of snow, and potentially create issues for Wednesday morning commuters.  The front begins as rain, then is expected to turn to snow Tuesday night.  NBC12 Meteorologist Andrew Freiden says a dusting to two inches is posible.

It will turn cold following the snow, with lows overnight Wednesday and Thursday in the teens.  Wednesday and Friday will have highs in the thirties, with Thursday's highs only in the 20s.  Winds will also make it feel colder.

However, Freiden says the cold breaks after Friday, and it is possible we could even see seventy degree temperatures next Wednesday.
