Woman Arrested After Crashing Stolen Car

Woman Charged With Being Under Influence Of Drugs; Driving Stolen Car

Richmond, Va. ( --  State Police have charged a 25-year old Richmond woman with stealing a car, and driving under the influence of drugs, following a morning crash on I-95 South near the Chippenham Expressway.  Police say Casey Vaughan, 25, suffered minor injuries in the crash around five this morning, which occurred when she allegedly tried to go from the left to the center lane, and struck another vehicle.  The second driver suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries after his car overturned.

Vaughan has been charged with: one count of Felony larceny of a vehicle, one count of felony possession of a Schedule I and II drug, driving under the influence of drugs, and driving on a revoked license. 

It is not clear where the vehicle was stolen from.  Vaughan is being held without bond at the Chesterfield County Jail.
