(RICHMOND, Va.) -- Isaais is coming to Virginia.

NBC 12 forecaster Andrew Freiden says that the storm is expected to make landfall near the North Carolina/South Carolina line and then head northward toward Virginia.

The storm is expected to be between Richmond and Hampton Roads and, with it, the threat of heavy rain, flooding and power outages.

As the storm is tracking right now, the biggest rainfall threat will be east of I-95, with the potential of up to six inches of rain. Also for areas east of I-95, there are potential wind issues and maybe even some isolated tornadoes.

West of I-95, the rain totals and wind threat diminish. People who live west of the interstate, but still fairly close, could still see a couple inches of rain.

The timeline is for the heavy rain to be overnight Monday into Tuesday morning. By Tuesday afternoon, the storm is gone and rapid improvement is expected.
