Richmond, VA (Newsradio WRVA.com) – The National Weather Service has confirmed two more tornadoes in the Richmond area as the remnant of Florence pushed through Monday.  The two additional twisters bring the total number of tornadoes that touched down Monday to 7 in the Metro Richmond area.  The latest confirmed tornadoes cut paths through the Westover Hills and Bellevue neighborhoods of Richmond.  Both are believed to have been EF0 twisters.

The strongest tornado was an EF2 that cut a 7 mile path through Chesterfield and killed 60 year old Ronnie Bishop in a warehouse in Midlothian.  His family says he was trying to get co-workers to safety when he was hit by debris as the roof was blown off the building by 120 mph winds.
