Brian France Charged With DUI & Possession of a Controlled Substance

Richmond, VA (WRVA) - The CEO and Chairman of NASCAR, Brian France was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York Sunday Night and charged with DUI.

Cops say that France drove his 2017 Lexus past a stop sign, resulting in a traffic stop by police. France’s actions and his condition led police to arrest him for DUI. During a subsequent search of France and his vehicle cops found Oxycodone pills.

 In addition to the DUI, France was charged with possession of a controlled substance.  TMZ first reported the arrest; they also say that France was name dropping during the arrest, perhaps in an attempt to influence police. Word is that France even dropped President Trumps name during the arrest.
