2 People Killed At Amazon Fulfillment Center

Wall Collapses During Storms

Richmond, VA (WRVA) -

Two people are dead in Maryland after a 50 foot by 50 foot wall collapsed at an Amazon fulfillment center in Baltimore.

The wall gave way during intense storms Friday night. The first worker was pulled from under fallen debris and rushed to a hospital Friday night where he died from his injuries.

The second worker's body was discovered Saturday Morning around 7:30 a.m. The workers body was found beneath piles of rubble and debris.

Survey teams from the National Weather Service are inspecting the site to see if it was a tornado or some other weather related issue that caused the wall to collapse.

The storm also caused problems for travelers on Interstate 95 in the Maryland area.
