Bomb Squad Called To Chesterfield Police Station

Virginia State Police bomb squad inspecting items at Midlothian Police Station

Richmond, VA (WRVA) - The Midlothian Police Station in Chesterfield County has been evacuated out of an abundance of caution.

A  Police Officer investigating a crime in the county's Foxberry neighborhood found a hodge podge of items that may or may not be part of an explosive device, found and brought back to the station were a clicker, pipes, wire, and electrical tape.  

The State Police bomb squad is examining the items.
