New York Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza is proposing that requiring an entrance exam for the state's specialized high schools be scrapped to promote "diversity," according to the New York Post.

What is worse is that Carranza is now essentially implying that those who don't back his new plan are racist.

Per the Post, Carranza said at a May 2019 City Council meeting, "Integration doesn’t lower academic achievement for any student; it improves it. Yet I can’t tell you how many times I hear in this discussion where there’s an equation [of] diversity and a lowering of academic students."
