After the price of U.S. oil dropped below $0 on Monday, radical Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) sent out a tasteless tweet expressing her joy over the crash.

In the since-deleted tweet, AOC responded to another message saying that oil producers would now have to pay people to "take it off their hands."

She said on Monday, "You absolutely love to see it. This along with record-low interest rates means it’s the right time for a worker-led, mass investment in green infrastructure to save our planet. *cough*."

Of course, the freshman congresswoman was shellacked by conservatives for her callous attitude. However, "NBC Nightly News," ABC's "World News Tonight" and "CBS Evening News" all completely ignored her tweet.

Instead, the "real" reporters and "serious" journalists decided they would rather devote their time to attacking "conservative activists," pushing a fluff segment called "Text Norah" and criticizing President Trump for issuing an executive order to suspend immigration to the U.S. for 60 days.

But, they're "just doing their jobs," right?
