Rep. Ralph Abraham (R-LA) and Eddie Rispone have force a runoff against incumbent Democratic Gov. John Bel Edwards (D) after holding a gubernatorial jungle primary on Saturday in Louisiana, Breitbart News reports.

Edwards needed 50 percent of the vote to avoid the runoff, but failed to get it. President Trump voiced his support for Republicans during a campaign stop on Friday in Lake Charles, LA and told the crowd that if the race went to a runoff, Republicans would oust Edwards. Abraham conceded the race and threw his support to Rispone, who will now face Bel Edwards in the runoff.
