NBC was forced to issue an apology on Sunday after NBC political director and "Meet The Press" host Chuck Todd edited a clip of Attorney General William Barr defending the Justice Department's decision in the Michael Flynn case.

On Sunday's edition of "Meet The Press," Todd cut short a clip of Barr defending the DOJ's decision to dismiss the case in an interview with CBS, leaving out very important context. Following the clip, Todd and his liberal panel proceeded to bash Barr for supposedly claiming that dropping the Flynn case was a political decision.

However, Barr said no such thing. In the full version of the interview, Barr went on to say, "But I think a fair history would say it was a good decision because it upheld the rule of law. It upheld the standards of the Department of Justice, and it undid what was an injustice."

Greg Price of the Daily Caller flagged Todd's deception and tweeted out the full version of the Barr clip:

DOJ spokeswoman Kerri Kupec saw this and called out "Meet The Press" for their dishonesty, which prompted a response and an apology.:
