The city of Denver has fined a local business for not cleaning up feces, trash and needles left behind by homeless people and drug addicts, according to CBS4 Denver.

Jawaid Bazyar, president and owner of communications company, was fined by the city after he and his staff stopped cleaning up the hazardous materials left behind outside his business. Bazyar says he and his staff will not clean up the mess anymore because it's a public health hazard.

The city, however, claims that if the mess is on his property, it is Bazyar's responsibility to clean it up.
