Does Anyone Actually Watch MSNBC?

They say it's lonely at the top, but it's also not that fun at the bottom. Just ask MSNBC.

Despite the network's attempts to integrate new programming, including Saturday Night Politics with Donny Deutsch, the ratings have not been kind. Deutsch's show was down more than 15 percent in the ratings from its launch on May 4, according to a report from Mediaite.

Over that same time, Saturday Night Politics pulled down 749,000 viewers overall and around 82,000 in the key adults 25-54 demographic. The numbers are actually an improvement, however, over the numbers drawn by Lawrence O'Donnell reruns. Although they're still a far cry from the numbers posted by Fox News during the same time slot, when Watters World airs.

According to NewsBusters, the most recent episode of Watters World pulled in nearly 1.5 million viewers and 182,000 in the 25-54 demo.

I guess unbridled hatred and disdain for the president will only get you so far.
