Elle Columnist and feminist E. Jean Carroll is accusing President Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her 23 years ago in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in New York City, according to Denver's 630 KHOW. Carroll detailed the story in a cover story for New York Magazine published Friday.

She also describes the alleged encounter in her book, What Do We Need Men For? A Modest Proposal (charming, right?), which is scheduled for release July 2.

"I made a list of hideous men in my life. It includes the president — who assaulted me in the dressing room of Bergdorf Goodman 23 years ago," writes E. Jean Carroll, who reflects on the most hideous men in her life in the cover story for our next issue. Carroll shares for the first time her violent encounter with Donald Trump. The Donna Karan coatdress she was wearing that day has hung on the back of her closet door ever since; she wore it again for the first time for her portrait session with @nymag. The dress Carroll is wearing on the cover is the one she was wearing the day the alleged encounter occured, she says.
