After being reduced to a Category 2 storm as it moved up the Florida coast, Hurricane Dorian has now been upgraded back to a Category 3 storm as it moves past the Carolinas and draws closer to Virginia, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Dorian brings with it sustained winds of up to 115 mph and is expected to dump up to 15 inches of rain on the Carolinas. It is currently moving Northwest at 7 mph, forecasters say.
