Remember, we said almost.

During an appearance at a CNN townhall event on Thursday, former Vice President Joe Biden confused the 2010 midterm election with the 2016 presidential election.

When asked how he would work with Republicans to get things done, Biden pointed to a negotiation with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell during the Obama administration.

Biden then said, "It really matters what a president says, what a president does, and how we get things done. And when you can’t get them to agree with you, you go out and beat them. I really mean it. Remember what we were told. The reason why we lost the Congress in '16 was because of Obamacare, remember? And by the way, it probably was. People didn’t know what it was."
