Remember Katie Hill? She was the Democratic congresswoman who resigned in disgrace after nude photos of her with a female staffer appeared online and rumors swirled about multiple affairs with employees.

Well, the former California representative spoke publicly for the first time since her resignation and blamed "rampant biphobia" for her decision to step down from her congressional seat.

Hill spoke in an exclusive interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos which aired Thursday and was asked if she regretted her decision to resign, to which she replied, "I strongly feel that I made the right call in stepping down for several reasons. One of which is that I did not want to be a liability to my colleagues."

Stephanopoulos then asked her if she felt her being bisexual played a role in the way the scandal unfolded.

Hill responded, "I think a lot of it is, and it's also partly because I'm a woman. The bisexuality is a huge part of it."

She added, "There's biphobia that is rampant, still, and certainly misunderstanding of what bisexuality is."
