"I think Donald Trump will get more votes in 2020 than in 2016," said Lara Trump who joined us on the Jeff Katz Show this afternoon.

President Trump is getting increasingly berated by the media, but Lara, who's worked in the media and is married to Eric Trump, said, "He's exactly where he needs to be." The president didn't need this job, unlike career politicians. He could be happily retired, but instead chose to help where he saw he could.

Even though the media promotes only "bad stories" about Trump, and Lara would like to see coverage of the good, "people are feeling the positive impact of his presidency."

Such positive things as the economy, the historically-high stock market, the hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs pouring in, and the president's two meetings with Kim Jon-un on denuclearizing North Korea.

Lara said, however, do we want to continually see these improvements or do we want to reverse them by bringing in government control of everything, like democrats are pushing for via socialism.

People are realizing that the democrats don't have their or the countries best interests at heart. Like Brandon Straka, the founder of the #WalkAway Campaign, who realized through some research and analysis of both parties that the things he believed were actually republican values not the values of democrats.

And that's why Lara believes Trump will get more votes in 2020, and why he'll "go down as one of the greatest presidents in U.S. history."
