Move over, Jussie, you've got some competition.

You can't make this stuff up. Well, actually it appears you can. A former NFL player is being charged for perpetrating a phony hate crime in order to file a false insurance claim and blame Trump supporters, WSB-TV Atlanta reports.

Officers in Gwinnett County, Georgia, were called to the scene of a reported robbery on Wednesday at Create and Bake Restaurant and Coughman's Creamery, which is owned by Edawn Coughman, who played for seven different NFL teams from 2012-2016.

When the officers arrived at the scene, they found signs of a burglary as well as racial slurs and the phrase "MAGA" spray-painted inside the restaurant. Police in the area also pulled over a black truck with an obscured license plate, suspecting it might be involved. The driver was none other than Coughman himself, who just so happened to have spray paint on his hands. Inside the truck, they found TVs that appeared to have been ripped from the wall.
