While much has been made of championship teams not wanting to visit the Trump White House, the Washington Nationals were one of the teams that did accept the president's invitation after their World Series title.

There were several players who did not attend with the team, but those that did stood proudly next to President Trump and catcher Kurt Suzuki even put on a MAGA hat while first baseman Ryan Zimmerman presented the president with a jersey and thanked him for his work during his administration.

Because this wasn't nearly negative enough for President Trump, network news coverage of the Nats' visit was minimal to non-existent.
