A New Jersey gym that reopened in defiance of Gov. Phil Murphy's coronavirus lockdown orders has been shut down by the state as of Thursday morning.

The Atilis Gym in Bellmawr, New Jersey had multiple notices from the state and the county saying the business was now closed. Notice of Embargo slips from the Camden County Division of Environmental Health and the New Jersey Department of Health were placed on the doors and windows overnight, according to WTFX-TV.

The gym's owners had been cited each of the last three days for reopening during the state's lockdown order.

Atilis Gym co-owner Frank Trumbetti told WTFX that the facility's sewer system "suddenly backed up" on Wednesday, which forced everyone to vacate the gym. After calling an emergency plumbing service to fix the problem Trumbetti claims they discovered "whole bunch of paper towels were stuffed" in the toilets, even thought the gym does not use paper towels.

The next day, the gym was closed by the health department.
