NPR Squanders Taxpayer Dollars On Outrageous Salaries

If you have ever donated to a National Public Radio beg-a-thon, your money went to a very worthy cause - the pocket of an overpaid host. If you have never donated, not to worry, because there's a good chance your tax dollars helped out a great deal too.

Washington Post reporter Paul Farhi tweeted reports from the IRS 990 form for nonprofits that showed the ridiculous salaries of NPR hosts. For example, Weekend Edition Saturday host Scott Simon, who works one day a week, made $479,578 last year.
