Love him or hate him, Donald Trump continues to get things done.

According to recent data from the Department of Homeland Security, the release of illegal immigrants into the United States has dropped by 85 percent since President Trump announced the new deal with Mexico had been reached.

Per Breitbart, Homeland Security released around 1,500 illegal aliens into American communities between July 2 and July 9, which averages out to about 188 per day. This number may seem high, but it is actually a massive drop from the numbers of catch and release prior to the new deal with Mexico.

Before the deal was reached, more than 1,200 illegal immigrants were being released into communities every day. And from June 4 to 11, about 8,500 border crossers were released into the U.S., Breitbart reports.
