Radical Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) told Detroit's police chief that the department should hire only black employees to run their facial recognition software because other ethnicities think black people "all look the same."

While taking a tour of the department's Real Time Crime Center, Tlaib said, "analysts need to be African-Americans, not people that are not ... I think non-African-Americans think African-Americans all look the same."

Detroit police chief James Craig, seemingly annoyed, responded by saying, "I trust people who are trained, regardless of race, regardless of gender."

In an interview with WDIV Local 4 in Detroit, Craig called Tlaib's comments "insulting" and said if he had made a similar statement, people would call for his resignation.
