British scientist Neil Ferguson, who caused mass panic and fear when he published a report predicting that the coronavirus would kill 2.2 million Americans and more than half a million Brits is now walking back that Apocalyptic claim.

Ferguson's Imperial College report stated that if the United States and the United Kingdom did not shut down for 18 months, daily deaths would be occurring after 3 months. He also indicated that hospitals and emergency rooms would be overrun.

Now, Ferguson has dialed back his claims, saying he feels "reasonably confident" health care services will be able to handle the expected peak of the pandemic in the coming weeks.
