Snopes Spins To Protect AOC From Her Own Words

The so-called fact-checkers from were quick to jump to the aid of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) after she criticized the sharing of 9/11 photos because they are "triggering."

Snopes writer Bethania Palma published an article with this headline: "Did AOC Say the Public Shouldn't See 9/11 Photos Because They're 'Triggering'?" She also discredited the several pro-Trump tweets on the matter as "false." 

However, this April video was pulled from Twitter, in which AOC did, in fact, say that circulating photos of 9/11 triggers people and incites violence against "progressive women of color."
