Make no mistake, "Trump derangement syndrome" is real and it is alive and well in this country.

In a comment posted on Green Valley News' website, a user relayed an encounter at a Trader Joe's in Tucson, Arizona, in which she and her husband "felt threatened" by a shopper wearing a "Trump 2020: t-shirt. She also claimed she and her husband saw the "entire mood of the store shift."

The user then explained how her husband conveyed to their cashier (a white woman) the "anxiety" they experienced being in the space "with a man who looked the part of a typical Trump-terrorist."

She added that the cashier herself grabbed her husband's hand and checked her own pulse because her "heart was still racing with fear" from her own encounter with the Trump supporter, who the user claims has "plenty of dark-minded company."
