The Media Completely Ignored This Statement From President Trump
Though the media has lambasted President Donald Trump for using the phrase "Chinese virus" because it's "racist" and creates a "stigma," they conveniently ignored what he said Monday evening.
During Monday's coronavirus briefing, the president encouraged Americans to protect the Asian-American community and asserted that they are not to blame for the spread of the virus.
The president said, "It’s very important that we totally protect our Asian American community in the United States and all around the world."
He added, "They’re amazing people. And the spreading of the virus is not their fault in any way, shape, or form."
