The FBI has charged two former Twitter employees with spying for Saudi Arabia after an investigation by the Bureau found they accessed private user information and looked into accounts of people that criticized the Saudi government, Breitbart News reports.

Prosecutors filed a complaint claiming the Saudi government paid the two Twitter employees hundreds of thousands of dollars and even gifted one a wristwatch in exchange for their services. The complaint laid out a coordinated effort by the Saudis to recruit spies within Twitter.
